VERTIGO is a showcase about a Portuguese architect.

Living in a world where time runs so fast, where everything changes day by day and where concepts like time and space are something that we can’t focus on, it gets impossible for us, human beings, to get really into things.

There seems to be no place for living in the present, for enjoying life, for learning cultures, for knowing people and for the simple act of breathing and feeling the beauty of the nature.

We are absorbed by news, controlled by technology and we are getting into a “vertigo“ which prevents us from living reality, understanding the world, how people act, live and think.

Constantly trying to fight this vertigo, I’ve been searching for my position since 2006, through architecture and towards life.

In order to understand me and my work, I invite you to wear these glasses, to see through my eyes, to know the people and the experiences that influence me and therefore my work.

We can’t make/understand architecture without feeling life (context) before.
It’s a VERTIGO!
